Paul Coughlin has been co-owner of Companion Pet Services, Inc. for 13 years. He has been training, handling and showing dogs for over 30 years as well as assisting pet owners with behavior problems through group classes and in-home training.  He has titles at all levels of obedience on over 14 breeds of dogs. He has been on radio and television and has appeared in two videos distributed by the American Kennel Club. He is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors.


Paul Coughlin and Candace Coughlin have both been approved as American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Approved Evaluators. They are now eligible to conduct the Canine Good Citizen test for clients and their pets both purebred as well as mixed breed dogs. 

The Canine Good Citizen program is designed to teach responsible dog ownership to owners and to certify dogs that have the training and behaviors needed to be reliable, well-behaved members of their families and communities.

Candace Coughlin has been co-owner of Companion Pet Services, Inc. for 13 years. She has been handling, training and showing dogs for over 24 years as well as assisting pet owners with behavior problems through group classes and in-home training. She has titles at the Novice level on several breeds of dogs and specializes in puppy training, including housebreaking and basic obedience.  

Candace has been a pet sitter and member of Pet Sitters International since 2005. In March 2007 she met the Quality Standards for Excellence in Pet Sitting by successful completion of the requirements of the Pet Sitters International Certification Program coursework and is recognized as a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS). 

Candace attended Pet Sitters International 14th annual Quest for Excellence 2009 in Orlando, Florida where she received continuing education credits towards her recertification attending sessions on topics like Customer Service, Disaster Planning, Understanding Canine Body Language, Animal Law Issues, Bird Care, Animal Care and Dealing with Stress. She additionally completed A PetSaver CPR and Pet First Aid course through PetTech. 

In January 2009 she was featured in an article in the St. Petersburg Times about her pet sitting business.
